Getting your first tattoo can feel exciting and a little intimidating.
At GAN TATTOO, we take time to explain the process before we begin. We'll talk about your idea, placement, size and aftercare so you know exactly what to expect.
There is no need to rush your decision. If you have questions, just ask.
Whether you choose a small flash design or a custom tattoo, we want your first experience to be calm, comfortable and memorable.

If you're planning to get tattooed during your trip, we recommend contacting us before you arrive. Let us know your travel dates, your tattoo idea and your preferred size.
We'll do our best to find a suitable appointment during your stay whenever possible.
The studio is located in Asakusa, within walking distance of Sensoji Temple.
English support is available throughout the consultation and tattoo session.
After your appointment, we'll explain how to care for your tattoo while travelling.
Aftercare
Good tattoos deserve good healing.
Taking care of your tattoo is part of the process.
Healing is just as important as the tattoo itself.
Before you leave the studio, we'll explain how to care for your tattoo and answer any questions you may have.
In general:
- Keep the tattoo clean.
- Follow the aftercare instructions we provide.
- Avoid swimming until the tattoo has healed.
- Avoid direct sunlight during the healing period.
- Do not pick or scratch the skin.
Healing times vary from person to person. If you have any concerns during healing, please contact us.
If you're travelling after your appointment, let us know your schedule in advance. We'll provide aftercare advice that fits your trip whenever possible.
